David recovered a total of $2,800,000 in the confidential settlement of insurance coverage and bad faith lawsuit against a major homeowner’s insurance company for a Metairie, Louisiana property owner whose home sustained wind and wind-driven rain damage during Hurricane Isaac.

Harvey, Louisiana Property Owner v. Major Insurance Company

David recovered $575,000 in settlement of a homeowner’s insurance coverage and bad faith lawsuit against a major insurance company after a fire damaged a Marrero, Louisiana property owner’s home.

Paterson v. The Hartford

Following a terrible accident in which Mr. Paterson was struck by a vehicle while he was standing on the side of a road, which vehicle had only minimum insurance limits, David identified and successfully recovered the $500,000 UM policy limits of Mr. Paterson’s mother’s auto insurance policy on the basis that Mr. Paterson had been living with his mother at the time of the accident and thus qualified as an insured under her policy.

Helicopter Crash Case Experience

David has successfully represented the surviving family members of two individuals who were killed and two other individuals who were seriously injured in three different helicopter crashes in the Gulf of Mexico. Each crash was unique and resulted from vastly different causes.
